It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Ann Clifton Watring-Ross of Statesboro, Georgia, born in Millen, Georgia, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Clifton and Leitha Mae Clifton; her husbands, Glenn Watring, II and Thomas Ross, Jr.; her brother Douglas Leith Clifton; and her aunt Sallie Clifton Williford.
She is survived by: her cousins, Virginia Mitchell Bouchea of Pooler, GA, Stanley Clifton (Martha) of North Augusta, SC and Gayle Clifton Hooper (Thomas) of North Augusta, SC; and her close friend Franklin Beacham. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
