He was predeceased by: his wife Maybelle Gay (Belle Jones); his parents, William Chalton Gay and Livvie Akins Gay of Statesboro, GA; and his sister Patricia Foss (Gay) of Darien, GA.. He is survived by: his daughter Lesia Gay Paulk; his son-in-law Wayne; his grandson Jason Paulk; and his sister Bonnie Gay Donaldson of Statesboro.
