With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Wells McClendon of Stockbridge, Georgia, who passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charley Golden Wells; her husband Lee Collins McClendon; and her son Joel Franklin McClendon. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Smith (Alvin), Charles McClendon (Terri) and Terrell McClendon (Theresa); her grandchildren, Michael McClendon (Jill), Morgan McClendon, Joe McClendon, Kelli McClendon and Lindsey McClendon; her great grandchildren, Kynlee, Payton and Levi; and her siblings, Pat Bryant and James Wells. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
