With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Franklin Ottinger Jr. (Stone Mountain, Georgia), who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin Ottinger, Sr. and Margaret Britton Ottinger; and his grandson Scott Phillip Hunt, Jr. (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cobble Ottinger; his children, Kelle Ottinger Hunt, Kriste Ottinger Sanders (David) and Trip Ottinger (Hollie); his grandchildren, Alex Hunt (Kate), Claire Moroney (Connor), Chris Roof (Brittany), Maggie Roof, Sandy Sanders, Jack and Anna Ottinger; and his pet Gus. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
In Bill's memory, donations can be made to the Humane Society and Trout Unlimited.
