We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2021 we had to say goodbye to William Locklear of Summerville, Georgia, born in Fort Payne, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Earnest Locklear and Rosetta Craig Locklear; his wife Ruth Morrison Locklear; and his siblings, Ben Locklear and Eloise Bentley.

He is survived by : his son William "Bill" F. Locklear, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Dora Locklear; his grandchildren, Joseph Locklear, Kathryn Locklear and Madeline Rismiller; his sister Earnestine Plummer; and his close friend Robert "Bobby" Daniel.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org) or the Semper Fi and America's Fund (http://www.semperfifund.org).
