With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carease Truitt Jones of Suwanee, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carease Truitt left this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Truitt and Lucille Truitt of Durant, MS.; her sister Joyce Cooper; and her husband Douglas Jones. She is survived by: her children, Doug Jones Jr. (Teresa), Jody Jones, Melanie Piefke (Steve) and Allyson Sims (Erik); her grandchildren, Taylor, Jake Piefke, Aubrey Sims and Amelia Sims Pace; her great grandchild Poppy Piefke; and her nephews, TJ, Trey, Ted Jones and Minton Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel (1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Gwinnett Memorial Park (925 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046).
