She was predeceased by: her husband Huron Hambrick; her parents, Fred Callaway and Francis Ozllene Callaway; and her siblings, Lamar, Leon, Fred Jr. "Sonny", Marion Callaway and Norma Jean Thurmond.
She is survived by: her children, John Hambrick (Michelle), Elizabeth Hightower (John) and Kimberly Hughes (Chris); her grandchildren, John Michael Hightower, Jr., Kimberly Hightower and Amy Carson; and her great grandchildren, Jake, Sam and Avery. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
