She was predeceased by: her parents, Doo Chan Hong and Yool Hur. She is survived by: her husband Chi Yol Ryu; her children, John Jiwoong Ryu (Susan), Jina Ryu Brown (Clark) and Jeffrey Jeahyun Ryu; and her grandchildren, Sarah Brown, Alicia Brown, Nicholas Ryu, Benjamin Ryu, Amelia Ryu and Nathaniel Ryu.
