She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shipman and Tera Campbell Shipman; her husband Meade Phillips; and her siblings, Julia Bell Shipman King, Marvin Shipman, Charlie Givens, James Givens, Sylvester Givens and Elmore J. Wilson.
She is survived by: her sons, Alexander James Shipman of Swainsboro and Terry Shipman of Dublin; her siblings, Tommy Givens (Shelia) of Swainsboro, Billy Givens (Jimmie Nell) of Swainsboro, Matthew Givens (Jeanette) of Norristown, Dorothy Wicker of Swainsboro, Tuesday Bynes (Kenny) of Swainsboro and Donnel Givens Cross of Douglas; and her grandchildren, Alexander Shipman (Wyketa), Valoria Armstrong (Lawrence), Deanna Brown (Lucious), Ricardo Jermaine Carlyle, Anthony Bostic, Tariya Shipman and Brandy Shipman. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
