He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Williams, Sr. and Lela Washington Williams; his son Phil McGirt; and his siblings, Georgia Williams, Annie Ruth Williams, Floyd Williams, Tommy Williams, Gene Williams and George Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Marcus Williams (Tiffany) of Swainsboro, Terrance Jones of Swainsboro, Mark Wise (Bonita) of Jacksonville, Florida and Andrea Woods (Derrick) of Augusta; his stepchildren, Hosea Sherrod, Larry Sherrod, Felechia Sherrod and Rodney Sherrod; and his siblings, Paul Williams (Audrey) of Jacksonville, Florida, Ella Mae Worthen of Swainsboro, Pauline Seays of Atlanta and Essie Starks of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
