It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Tapley of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Claxton, Sr. and Katherine Flanders Claxton; her siblings, Dorothy Wall and Douglas Claxton; her niece Jenny Bryant; her great-nephew Braxton Bethea; and the father of her children Danny Allen Lee.
She is survived by : her husband Richard F. Tapley of Swainsboro; her daughters, Katie Lowery (Keith) of Swainsboro and Malicia Lee Maddox (Matt) of Metter; her siblings, Richard Claxton (Sarah Johnson) of Swainsboro, Jimmy Claxton (Bonnie Leslie) of Metter and Sarah McGraw (Harry) of Wadley; her grandchildren, Jackson P. Johnson, Jarrett W. Johnson, Matthew Maddox and Molly Maddox; and her sister-in-law Patsy Claxton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
