Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Celia Viann Anderson Hendley of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 86, on June 8, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Hillery Anderson and Bessie Kirkland Anderson; her husband Billy C. Hendley; and her sister Linda Holbrook. She is survived by: her children, Tim Hendley (Tammy) of Swainsboro and Pamela Keyton (Lyn) of Twin City; her sister Becky Yawn of Houston, TX; and her grandchildren, Ashley Cowart (Jody), Emily Hendley, Chris Keyton (Payce), Lauren Bedgood (West) and Miley Carter (Levi). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Blundale Baptist Church (2675 US-1, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A graveside service was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Blundale Baptist Church, 2675 US 1 South, Swainsboro, GA 30401.
