It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolly Ann Newsome of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Curl and Bessie Tant Curl; her husband David Newsome; and her siblings, Henry Curl, Jerry Curl, Ellen Jeter and Wylene Curl.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Newsome (Missy) of Kite and Melissa Cowart (Miley) of Claxton; her sisters, Eloise Trull (Billy) of Swainsboro, Deborah Alford (Jody Logan) of Swainsboro and Cherry Allen of Swainsboro; her grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Ashley), Lauren Kerbo (John), Lindsey Akins and Dayne Cowart (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Millie Smith, Ace Smith, Ellie Smith and Elizabeth Kerbo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
