He was predeceased by: his daughter Sarah Brown; his siblings, Geraldine Johnson, Deophia Brown, Alford Johnson and Steven Lane; and his grandchildren, Marcus Howell and Shemika Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Alpha Johnson of Swainsboro; his children, Cleve Howell (LaWanda) of Swainsboro, Anthony Lloyd of Swainsboro, Dennis Brown (Ann) of Brooklet, Taurus Mainer (Shumika) of Dallas, GA, Patricia Burke of Swainsboro, Brenda Green (Anthony) of Swainsboro and Kandace Roberts of Swainsboro; and his siblings, Marvin Johnson of Vidalia and Helen Harper of Swainsboro. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
