It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Katherine Thompson of Sylvania, Georgia, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Godbee Perry and Walter Ben Hammock. She is survived by: her children, Lincoln "Bubba" Lester Thompson, Jr. (Julie) of Burke County, Alisa T. Curtis (Rob) of Sylvania, GA and Bradley Seth Thompson (Dana) of Millen, GA; her grandchildren, Laci Crutchfield (Charles), Haileigh Thompson, Dalton Thompson, Amber Williams and Carinn Curtis; her great grandchild Connor Crutchfield; her siblings, Eugene Talmadge Hammock of California, Berta Landing (James) of Millen, GA, Robert Hammock (Patricia) of Sardis, GA, Angeline Skinner of Sylvania, GA and Joe Hammock of Girard, GA; and her stepdaughter Gail Thompson Rigdon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
