He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Burns; his children, Charles "Chuck" Burns, Jr. (Lorie), Edward "Marty" Burns (Linda), Kevin Burns (Sabrina), Derek Burns (Lori), Montein Burns McClinton (Allen) and Angela Jackson; his brother Edward Burns (Thelma); and his sister-in-law Pearl Burns (George). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
