It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald MacKaravitz of Sylvania, Georgia, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Joseph and Frances Bell Mackaravitz; his siblings, Linda M. Hamm and Michael L. Mackaravitz; and his former wife Connie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Scott Mackaravitz; his daughter Holly Panella; and his siblings, Daniel J. Mackaravitz (Annamae), Diane M. Bannon and Beverly M. Recchiuti. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family asks that those attending please wear masks and observe social distancing.
