She was predeceased by: her husband James Allen Nunnally; her son Tony Burdette; her parents, Dwight Jubal Massey, Sr. and Mildred Ward Massey Gibson; her stepfather Tom "Russ" Gibson; her siblings, Clifton Massey, Sr. and Juanita; her brother-in-law Cecil Parsons; and her mother-in-law Clotiel Nunnally.
She is survived by: her children, Mondie Hamilton (David) of Buffalo, SC, Julie Kemp (Alex) of Sylvania, Donna Macintosh (Phil) of Illinois and Will Barrs of Sylvania; her brothers, Dwight Massey (Joette) of Newington, Jerry Massey of Gainesville, GA and Tim Massey (Janet) of North Carolina; her brother-in-law Joe Miller Nunnally of Waynesboro; and her grandchildren, Silver O'Dell (Kelly), Christy Gardin, Kenny Gardin, Cody Gardin, Tiffany Barrs, William Barrs (Rebecca), Tabatha Barrs, Jaimie Arnold (David), Justin Monroe and Able Kemp. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
