She was predeceased by: her parents, Mather Ennis and Marie McMichael Gay; and her siblings, David Mather Gay, Barbara Jean O'Neal and Marion "Mike" Gay.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Bowen West (William) of Sylvania, Gerald Lawton Bowen II (Donna), Debbie Bowen Daniels (Ricky) of Rincon and Donna Bowen McDonough (Eddie) of Sylvania; and her grandchildren, Vicki Socia (Richard), Michele Stewart (Chris), Karen Utnehmer (Mark), Brandi Moore (Frankie), Rachel Newcomb (Mark), William L. West II (Amanda), Lisa Stephens (Travis), Gerald Bowen III (Leslie), Benji Teston (Kristy), Kelli Exley (Kevin), Charles McDonough II (Dianna), Adam McDonough (Kacie) and Christy Jenkins (Dusty). She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren.
