With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Lou Thompson Williams of Sylvania, Georgia, born in Screven, Georgia, who passed away on March 20, 2022 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Taylor Williams; and her siblings, Grady Thompson, Hazel Thompson and Homer Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Williams Floyd of Hazlehurst; her grandchildren, Robbie Blackburn, Reva Marie Courson, Brandon Blackburn, William Lee, Walter Lee, Anna Miller, Brittany Floyd and Bobby Williams; and her sister-in-law Wayward (JoAnne Thompson). She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and a brother.
