He is survived by: his wife Cathryn "Kitty" Smith Newton of Sylvania; his children, William Newton (Debra) of Guyton, Henry Newton (Tammy) of Springfield, Sherry Newton of Pembroke, Ressa Carter (Ralph) of Midway, Mary Beth Lee-Newton of Sylvania, Katie Lee of Sylvania, Rene Lee of Sylvania, Tonya Lee Fowler of Riceboro, Joseph Lee of Sylvania and Travis Lee of Sylvania; his sisters, Patsy Ruth Stuart (Carey) of Rincon and Donna Kay Grant (Jim) of Rincon; and his sister-in-law Sue Weaver (Billy) of Sylvania.
