He was predeceased by: his parents, Van D. Peel, Sr. and Myrtle Waller Peel. He is survived by: his sister Jane Peel Wilmesherr (Milton); his nieces, Leigh Wilmesherr Carpenter (Ryan) and Katie Wilmesherr Rankin (Sean); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sophie Grace Carpenter, Sutton Elizabeth Carpenter, Brewer Andrew Carpenter, Lily Margaret Rankin, Lucy Jane Rankin, Logan Andrew Rankin and Luke Scott Rankin.
The family requests that everyone wear face masks and practice social distancing during services and burial.
