She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther "Budd" and Queen Esther Lawton Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Sam Burgest of Sylvania, Margaret Burgest-Hilton of Sylvania, Maxine Burgest of Sylvania, Solomon Burgest (Cynthia) of Sylvania, Georgia, Betty Graham (Abner) of Statesboro and Rachael Roberts-Roberson (Alexander) of Cupertino; her grandsons, Rev. Leonard Burgest (Angela), Jarmarcus Cooper, Demario Prince (Gina), Caribe Burgest, Anthony Burgest (Carietta), Jason Burgest, Corey Burgest (Brittany), Brandon Burgest (Jaquilla), Jarcarus Lanier (Quaneishia), Kyle Burgest, Tyler Campbell, Catrell Burgest and Justyn Campbell; and her friend Rose Lewis. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be enforced at the funeral services.
