She was predeceased by: her parents, Isom Massey and Rilla Horne Massey; her former husband Norman Tanner; her husband Tom Carlton; her sons, Mack, Ronnie, Alvin and Glenn Tanner; her stepson Thomas Carlton; and her grandsons, Guy Tanner and Jon Harrah.
She is survived by: her children, Imogene Harrah (Bobby), Jelaine Clark (Jimmy), Terry Tanner (Diane), Debra Tharpe of Albany, Marsha Brooks (Michael) and Toby Tanner of Albany; her daughters-in-law, Polly Tanner and Velma Tanner; and her stepchildren, Wayne Carlton, Jean and Nell Gay. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
