He is survived by: his wife Pansy Byrd; his children, Amanda "Mandy" Forbes (Ryan) and Kevin Hammonds; his stepchildren, Candy and Richie Hancock; his grandchildren, Angel Jarrell (Chase), Rion Forbes, Josh Jenkins, Andrew Hammonds, Markas Hammonds, Adam Hammonds and Ava Hammonds; his great grandchild Jaxon Jarrell; and his siblings, Lee Hammonds, Danny Hammonds, Brenda McClure, Betty Lindsey, Syble Williams and Scottie Hammonds (Helen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
