It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Diane Russell of Temple, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fleming Harrison and Edna White Harrison; her husband James Monroe Russell; and her son Shawn Jeremy Grimes. She is survived by : her sons, Jessie Grimes of Tallapoosa and Terry Dewayne Maxwell of Temple. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens (11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134).
