He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Walker Britt and Martha McKinney Britt; and his sister Nancy Britt Adams. He is survived by: his wife Mae Jo Crumpton Britt of Thomaston; his children, Betsy Maddox (Charles) of Thomaston, Sara Butts of Thomaston and Mathew Britt of Thomaston; and his siblings, Becky Lucas (Mel) of Lagrange, GA and Bobby Britt (Marty) of Fayetteville, GA. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
