He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Winters Slaughter; his children, Tony Alton Slaughter (Stephanie), Anthony Scott Gordy, Dena Slaughter Hiyler (Richard Chad) and Amanda Shawn Kramer (Joe); his brother James Smith (Angie); his grandchildren, Katelyn Murphy (Steven), Taylor Gordy (Devin), Maghan Ramsey (Will), Tayler Hilyer (Cole), Hanna Hiyler, Ethan Slaughter, Jayde Hutchens (Brody), Bubba Gordy, Molly Kramer, Reese Kramer and Sydnee Kramer; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Kate Elder, Brian Sanders and Greyson Hollar.
