With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Howard Nelson of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on September 16, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Nelson and Mae Belle Nelson; and his wife Marsha Nixon Nelson. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Nelson (Rebekah) of Meansville Ga and Chad Nelson (Kiwanda) of Macon Ga; and his sisters, Barbara Nelson Cargile of Thomaston Ga and Shirley Huckaby (Kenny Patrick) of Thomaston Ga. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
