It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Kate Seay (Thomaston, Georgia), born in Woodland, Georgia, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Kate Acey Jackson and John Henry Jackson; her siblings, Mary Lee Jackson and Robert "Roy" Jackson; her son Timothy B. Seay; her close friend Clarence Mitchell; and her son-in-law Melvin Sumlin.
She is survived by: her husband Elmo Seay, Sr.; her children, Martha K. Seay Sumlin of Decatur, GA, Elmo Seay, Jr. (Shirley) of Atlanta, GA, James R. Seay (Patricia) of Overland Park and Jeanette Seay Releford (Billy) of Thomaston, GA.; and her sisters, Barnetta Green of Atlanta, GA, Janie Britt (Leroy) and Ida Little (Tinye Jackson). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
