With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Ruth White of Thomaston, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Williams and Nellie Tucker Williams; her husbands, John C. Hickman and James Matthew White III; her children, Claude "Ed" Hickman, Nell Hickman and Kathy Hickman; her grandson Kyle Hankinson; and her brother Curtis Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah (Hoyt Short), John (Vickie Hickman), James Hickman of Moultrie, Regina (Craig Dutton), Matthew (Sabrina White) and Joseph (Vicky White); her sister Claudia; her brother-in-law George Kitchens of Columbus; and her pet Trooper. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
