With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burdie Long McKinley Brannon of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Long and Dallie Bea Bassett Long; her former husband George Aldine McKinley; her husband Ralph Kenyon Brannon; and her son Gaylen McKinley.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Mitchell (Hardy) of Thomaston; her grandchildren, Mack Mitchell (April) of Blackshear, GA, Shannon Hammonds (Brett) of Stockbridge, GA, Adrian Griffith of Thomaston, GA and Callie Coker (Sam) of Thomaston, GA; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Mitchell, Avery Griffith, Cody Mitchell, Alex Hammonds, Britney Hammonds, Mattie Griffith, Noah Mitchell, Marlie Kelly, Maizy Kelly, Tatum Coker and Beau Coker. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
