He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee Pennyman Lyons and William Marrion Lyons; and his siblings, Annie Lizzie Lockett, William Marion Lyons Jr., Marvin Lyons and Willie John Lyons.
He is survived by: his son Chance Lyons (Jamoni) of Covington, GA; and his sisters, Shirley Lyons of Yatesville, GA and Marilyn Lyons of Thomaston, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
