She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Arnold Adkerson and Daisy Inez McClendon Adkerson; her husband Robert Lovett; and her siblings, Anne Story and Jimmy Adkerson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Dickson (Jerry) of Perry, OK, Starlyne Clark (Mark) of Ocoee, FL and Glenda Grant (Keith) of Macon, GA; her grandchildren, Jacob Clark (Chelsea), Caleb Clark, Evan Grant and Kate Grant; her great grandchildren, Lawton and Weston; and her sibling's children, Anna Lee Story, Houston and Drew Story.
