She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Smith and Evelyn Partain Smith; her husband Thomas Alton Childree; her sister Darande Holsenbeck; and her daughter Barbette Childree.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Kent (Alex) of Freeport, FL and Bridgette Chambley (Kevin) of Thomaston; her siblings, Conrad Smith (Gloria) of Thomaston, Linda Walters of Thomaston, Cynthia Shumate of Thomaston and Melia Guy (Joel) of Butler; her grandchildren, Matt Watts (Katie), Ben Chambley, Anna Pippins (Keith), Hayley Elder (Parker) and Logan Kent; and her great grandchildren, Cooper Watts and Will Elder.
