He was predeceased by: his son Monterrious Daniel; and his brother Lilanvo Montalius. He is survived by: his son Jaxon Daniel; his mother Carolyn Daniel; his stepfather Derry Jones; his father Anthony Jones (Juanita); and his siblings, Crystal Jones, Kanisha Jones, Kesha Jones, Anita Jones, Antavious Jones and Frederick Jones. He is also survived by mentor and consultant, but to his closest friends he was known as a devoted father. "Chris was a loving nurturing and involved father. He made sure that he was present for his son's extracurricular activities. school functions and so much more. Like all legends, Chris was a wealth of ideas, plans and untapped potential. He was a genuine articulate an powerful mentor. Through his inspiring teaching style he has left a lasting impression on many and helped change lives. Chris had a unique ability to make the incomprehensible art of team building fun, relative, and practical! He truly walked the walk and talked the talk, and he wanted others to be better as a result of his experiences. He touched all of our lives but more importantly left a bit of himself in each of us." – friends.
