He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Lee Ray Childs and Joseph Childs (Joe). He is survived by: his children, Otis Clinton, Govern Lee, Cherry Laverne and Sandra Ann; his daughters-in-law, Louise (Otis) and Lucy (Govern); his grandchildren, Valerie Garlington (Michael), Derrick Childs (B. J.), Thanicia Childs and Miranda Reid; and his siblings-in-law, Naomi Hammond, Paul Green, Sanford Green and Nathaniel Green. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
