He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kirkland and Alline Golden Kirkland. He is survived by: his wife Diane Kirkland of Thomaston Ga; his daughters, Cindy Kirkland Cone and Sharon Kirkland Timms (David); and his stepchildren, Teresa Hall Ponder of Lagrange Ga and Raymond Ponder (Michelle) of Suches Ga. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren.
