With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Faye Gallinger (Thomaston, Georgia), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on May 27, 2020 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Faye Gallinger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Esther Fay Huffman McEachern. She is survived by: her husband Robert Gallinger; her father Aubrey B. McEachern (Robert Gallinger) of Thomaston; her children, Rachel Gallinger Thompson (Lonnie) of Jacksonville, Sarah Gallinger of Jacksonville and Matthew Gallinger of Jacksonville; her siblings, Aubrey B. McEachern III (Kimberly) of Melbourne, FL, Mary Susan McEachern of Thomaston and Patrick F McEachern (Debbie) of Dunnellon, FL; her grandchildren, Avery and Caleb Thompson of Jacksonville; her close friend William "Bill" Voss of Thomaston, GA.; and her friends, Griff Betta Fish and Donna. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.
At Donna's request, her remains will be cremated and scattered in the Atlantic Ocean waters of her much loved Jacksonville Beaches, following a life celebration which will be announced for a later date due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or http://www.cancer.org.
