She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Roy Bankston and Bessie Mae Waller Bankston; her husband William D. "Bill" Allen, Sr.; and her son William D. "Bill" Allen, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Anne Lavoie (Michael) of Peachtree Corners, GA, Sue Corley (Ron) of McDonough, GA, Tommy Allen (Brenda) of Thomaston, GA and Debbie Wheeless (Bill) of Thomaston, GA; and her daughter-in-law Janice Allen of Meansville, GA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
