We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2022, at the age of 81, Dorothy C. Parkerson of Thomaston, Georgia, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Cecil Moon and Elizabeth Raines Moon; her husband Rudolph Parkerson; and her siblings, Juanita Fletcher, Danny Moon and Virginia Sumerall.

She is survived by: her sons, Chris Parkerson (Lisa) of Thomaston and Timothy Parkerson (Staci) of Grantville; and her brothers, William "Bill" Moon (Terri) of Lake City, Florida and Patrick Moon (Wendy) of Port St. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
