He was predeceased by: his son William Douglas Baughcum; and his brothers, Hiram Bentley Baughcum, William Howard Baughcum and Aaron Baughcum. He is survived by: his wife Nell Baughcum; his grandsons, Derek Alan Baughcum, Kalen Wayne Puckett and Christian Brady Puckett; his brother Roy Bughcum; his sister-in-law Betty Baughcum; Floyd Baughcum (Mildred).
