He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jackson Smith and Berta Mae Speir Smith; and his son Charles Smith. He is survived by: his son Keith Smith (Crystal) of Calhoun; and his siblings, Eugene Smith of Monticello, Faye Martin Wright of Forsyth, Wayne Smith (Jo) of Forsyth and Alfred Smith of Marietta. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
