He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Juanita Gassett Wheeless. He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Ellis (Tim) of Thomaston Ga, Sonya Birdsong (Mike) of Thomaston Ga and Stacy Wheeless of Thomaston Ga; and his brothers, Edward Wheeless of Thomaston Ga and Bill Wheeless of Thomaston Ga. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
