He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marshall Pitts Sr. and Essie Helms Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Gatlin Pitts of Thomaston; his children, Fred O. Pitts Jr. (Cindy) of St. Augustine, FL., Stan Pitts (Chrystie) of Thomaston Ga, Rod Pitts (Kristie) of Thomaston, Debbie Martinez (Tony) of Thomaston Ga and Marsha Landers (Alan) of Williamson Ga; and his stepdaughter Debbie Partridge of Thomaston Ga. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
