He was predeceased by: his brother James Hammock Survivors. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Hammock of Thomaston; his daughters, Ronda Arnold (Tommy) of Manchester and Monica Hammock of Thomaston; his siblings, Ronald Hammock (Faye) of Thomaston and Loretta Rakestraw (Joe) of Meansville; his sisters-in-law, Trellis Ellington of Thomaston and Phyllis Watts of Thomaston; and his grandchildren, Brian Hammock, Josh Arnold (Jesseca), Brittany Hudson (Jonathan) and Dustin Hammock. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
