He is survived by: his wife Anna Cowart Arnold of Thomaston; his children, Dr. Hays Arnold, III (Kristen) of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer Walton (Brett) of Rockwall, TX, Karen Lisicia (Joey) of Fayetteville and Kristi Smith (Greg) of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Camp, Briggs, Cole, Alex, Lizzie, Sophia, Shane, Sam, Ben and Anna.
