It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lester Ward (Thomaston, Georgia), who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Ward and Alice Funderburk Ward; his siblings, Luther Ward, Robert Ward and Susan Pruett; and the mother of his children Karen Ward.

He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Ward of Yatesville and Darrell Ward of Thomaston; his sister Rebecca Thompson of Florida; and his grandchildren, Adessa Ward, Troy Peacock and Cody Peacock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
