He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thomas Smith and Ruby Cleveland Smith; and his brother Ronnie Smith (Judy Farmer Smith). He is survived by: his brothers, Hulet Smith (Peggy), Donald Smith (Verna) and Kenneth Smith; his siblings' children, Rebecca Pankey (Paul), Hugh Smith Jr. (Melony) and Billy Smith (Tina); and his grandchildren, Ansley, Sydnee, Will, Cole, Hughston, Lainey, Dakoda, Max, Gavyn and Ruby.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Hugh's memory to Christ Chapel building program at 115 Sullivan Rd. Zebulon Ga. 30295.
