She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Hilman Pitts Sr.; her son Rusty Singletary; and her sister Wilma L. Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Hilman Pitts Jr. of Orange Park, FL, Shirley Eubanks (Marvin) of Thomaston, GA, Debra Ann Pitts Legg (Chris) of Thomaston and Shirl S. Blackston (Marty) of Thomaston, GA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church at 1165 Hannah's Mill Road Thomaston , GA 30286.
